School Time !!!!!!!

The boys are back in school! Yay, no more fighting and tattleing! (Right) Maybe atleast less of it! :) The first day was pretty interesting. Ethan, my oldest, is in 4th grade this year and he was ready and excited for the day to begin! I walked him to class and he was like, "Ok mom, you can leave now." Ryan was a different story. Jason and I both walked him to class on the first day and he wanted me to stay and help him. He has been nervous for school to start. I can tell because he keeps telling me that he hates school! So when I told him that I had to leave he started to cry. Not hard, his eyes just got really red and big and the tears just slipped out. You could tell he was trying so hard not to cry. He wiped the tears that escaped away as fast as he could because he was embarresed. It was so hard to leave. I just wanted to stay and make it easier on him. By the end of the week he was saying he still hated school but he would let me leave him outside his class with the teacher. Funny thing....when I picked him up, he told me he had fun! I know it will get easier at he gets used to the routine.

So needless to say, I am left with a little free time during the day, and I am enjoying it. I will have to find something to fill my time... Something that doesn't include cleaning and laundry. (Right!)..........

My first day..

My husband (yoeddy) got me interested in trying my hand at this whole blogging thing…. Looks like kind of a fun way to express myself and keep in touch with family… I am a busy mother of 2 very active and entertaining boys. I also work at a Semi-Conductor Company in a fabrication environment where we manufacture microchips for a bazillion different electronic devices. On top on trying to stay focused on what my kids need I am also taking classes and am involved in an Empowerment Team at work. Needless to say my free time is limited. When I do get free time I enjoy reading. Mostly things with a lot of “fluff”. I enjoy a little murder mystery tossed in with some romance. Not that I need romance….. Being married for almost 13 years, I have had plenty of that. ( In case you couldn’t tell there was a little sarcasm in that statement!!! ) After that many years you are just comfortable with each other and I wouldn't change that for anything in the world. ; ) My boys are into video games, riding motorcycles, riding bikes, playing with cars, baseball. Yes, boy stuff! Any parent out there knows that what your kids are into, you are into, and can I just say that once in a while I would love someone to watch a girl movie with… HaHaHa!!! As time goes on I am sure I will divulge more and more about my crazy household….stay tuned…..
